This will be Ben and Lilly's 5th YEAR camping outside to help raise needed funding and awareness for Street Angels, a mobile outreach organization that is currently serving over 300 individuals without homes a night and providing showers for those in need during the week. They will start camping out on Friday Nov. 8 and will go through Sunday Nov. 10 to help bring awareness and raise important funding.
We will also be collecting items on our needs list -- mens' joggers, sweatshirts, blankets, socks, and underwear over the weekend so please stop by and say "hi" if you are in the neighborhood!
Street Angels is a mobile homeless outreach organization in Milwaukee dedicated to assisting individuals in ending their homelessness by providing dignified services, advocacy, connections to critical resources, and hope. Since 2016, Street Angels has grown to be a highly regarded leader in the homeless outreach field and has two outreach buses running two simultaneous routes throughout Milwaukee County every week in addition to our moblie shower trailer that provides showers, a meal and clean clothes who don't have access to basic hygiene needs.
Every dollar raised will go toward lexpanding and sustaining our programs to ensure nurishment and warmth are provided to those experiencing homelessness this season.
