SINGING IN THE STREETS

This year we have a hefty goal of singing our way to $75,000 to be used toward expenses for the homeless outreach program and the brand new Showers of Hope program! Thank you for your consideration in helping us reach this goal to provide Hope!

In Person Event: Looking for a fun way to support a great cause? Come out on June 22nd as we wind down this campaign and take over the beer garden and stage at Kegel's Inn in West Allis for our "Singing In The Streets" Karaoke for a Cause Fundraiser! 5901 W. National Ave. Noon to 4pm. You don't want to miss this! There will be some great entertainment, delicious food and beverages available for purchase, and lots of ways to win some Amazing prizes from very generous local businesses and community supporters! Street Angels Milwaukee Outreach Mission: We are a mobile outreach organization assisting our neighbors without homes in bridging the gaps between homelessness and housing. Our outreach teams are providing nutritious meals, survival supplies, connections, and hope to those who are unsheltered. In 2023 the outreach teams provided 156 nights of outreach connecting with a unique 769 individuals experiencing homelessness and served over 21,000 meals! Additionally, Street Angels is providing a support system and advocacy to assist people in getting connected to the resources that can assist them in ending their unsheltered homelessness.

Showers of Hope is Going Mobile-"Love and Dignity on Wheels" Proper hygiene is vital to the good health of an individual and a community in whole. In partnership with the Kohler Company and several other community partners, Street Angels is launching the Showers of Hope program which includes a 3-stall, ADA accessible, mobile shower trailer accessible for anyone who does not have access to adequate shower facilities. These outreaches will include multiple community partners offering access to basic needs, treatment services, health care, harm reduction and much more!
