We can help be the safety nets for our neighbors experiencing homelessness

Dear friends,

As most of my friends know, I’ve been a Street Angel since 2018. I’ve been involved with the 48 Hours fundraiser, I’ve slept outside with the team, I’ve endured freezing weather, rats running across our camp, and the feeling of despair that comes with little to know sleep and not knowing what the next hour will bring!

I also have witnessed first hand the smiles on our homeless friends faces when we pull up in the bus to provide a meal, a new to them coat, socks, hygiene, etc. But most importantly I see the light in their eyes when they see US, because we offer a kind word and understanding WITHOUT judgement!

In the next couple of days you will see the stories of people that are now living in their own homes and how they attribute Street Angel’s to their success!

Street Angels is a mobile homeless outreach organization in Milwaukee dedicated to assisting individuals in ending their homelessness by providing dignified services, advocacy, connections to critical resources, and hope. Since 2016, Street Angels has grown to be a highly regarded leader in the homeless outreach field and has expanded to acquire two outreach buses running two simultaneous routes throughout Milwaukee County every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evening, 156-nights-year.

Current S.O.S. (State of Our Streets): Currently, the number of people who are connecting with the Street Angels outreach team for assistance is at an all-time high. The number of people currently being served 3-nights-week is an average of 230-245 individuals. Concerningly the brutal winter season is around the corner and we need your help to continue to provide life-sustaining supplies such as winter gear & healthy meals.
