Street Angels is a mobile outreach organization that exists to help people bridge the gaps between homelessness and housing.
The outreach program focuses on those who are disconnected from services and living unsheltered, in places not meant for human habitation. The outreach has two main goals, 1) To make an immediate impact by providing basic needs to prevent suffering from hunger or exposure to the elements, and 2) To make a long-term impact by advocating for individuals to get connected to services that can end their homelessness.
For many who are experiencing homelessness, there is no immediate shelter or housing option available. It can also be very challenging to navigate resource systems and many have lived trauma that alienate them from seeking out traditional services.Street Angels is there to provide support during the interim and is bringing the resources to those who need them most, where they are.
In partnership with the Kohler Company, Street Angels will be bringing a mobile shower trailer program to the community in Spring, 2024. This program is critical for good health of the individuals that Street Angels serves and the overall community.
