Three nights a week, every week of the year, Street Angels works to meet the needs of people living unsheltered in Milwaukee and connect them to resources in the community who can provide stability.
I'm raising funds to support the operations of these outreach routes to meet people where they are and to form critical relationships that allow us to connect people to the community partners who can help them.
About the current situation from our Board President:
Street Angels' most recent Data Dashboard (9/1/2022) reports there are 222 individuals who are homeless and living outside or in places not fit for human habitation, e.g. cars. The number of people living outside fluctuates with the seasons, availability of resources, and access to shelter. Note: this information only includes individuals determined to be homeless on our two outreach routes (north & south sides) and does not represent a county-wide census.
